Jennifer has over 18 years of experience in the project management field. She received her bachelor’s degree from Concordia College of Minnesota in Business and Economics. She received her graduate degree in Organizational Management at the University of Colorado at Denver. She has certifications from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professiona, an Agile Certified Professional and a Disciplined Agile Senior Scrum Master. She is also certified as a Scaled Agile Framework Agilist, which utilizes both Scrum and Lean-Agile principles.
Jennifer's business experience as a Lead IT Project Manager for Qwest Communications includes managing both virtual teams as well as co-located agile project teams (Extreme Programming and Scrum methodologies). She was responsible for a program budget which included 23 projects and a $27 million budget. She provided a centralized point of contact for the project plans, schedules, resources, and status across all levels of management.
Jennifer’s training experience includes over 25 separate forms of project management courses, certification training in CAPM® and PMP®, and develops specialized training programs. She also consulted with clients on the installation of Microsoft Project Server and assisted in establishing Project Management Offices. She conducted Organizational Management Maturity Model (OPM3) Assessments and developed customized courses to meet the client’s specialized needs.
