Research Summary:

Our study examines how firms in supply chains are improving their corporate social responsibility in order to expand relationships with their major customers. In terms of environmental and product performance, a firm’s enhanced social responsibility performance results in increased business with major customers. However, this positive effect is weakened by both demand-driven and supply-side uncertainty.
