Yolibeth Benitez

Yolibeth Benítez graduated from VCU’s School of Business in 2016. She lives and works in Richmond, VA, the city she calls home since immigrating from El Salvador when she was nine years old. Ms. Benítez works in the management and operations side of her family’s business. Her family owns and operates two Latino markets in the area as well as Terraza, a modern Latin restaurant located in the east end. On her time off work, she enjoys running, traveling the world, and spending time with her family.


Ankit was the co-founder CTO, and Chief Product Officer for Roundtrip – a digital healthcare transportation marketplace working with leading healthcare organizations across the country to remove transportation as a barrier to care. Prior to that, He has over 20 years of experience in technology, software, and bringing digital products to market across multiple industries. He holds a Degree in Computer Information Systems, a Masters of Business Administration, and a Masters in Information Technology Management from Virginia Commonwealth University. Ankit is the recipient of Style Weekly’s Top 40 Under 40 and was selected as RVA’s Founder of Year in 2019.


Dr. Amita Goyal Chin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Systems. She received her B.S. in Computer Science and M.S. and Ph.D. in Information Systems, all from the University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Chin has been a leader in online education and teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in multiple modalities. Her expertise proved particularly valuable during the emergency transition to online education due to COVID-19. Dr. Chin’s current research interests include mobile technologies and online security. Her research has been published in many IS conference proceedings and academic journals.  Prior to academia, Dr. Chin was the founding Director of the multi-million dollar campus-wide Deans Electronic Academic Network System (DEANS) at the University of Maryland at College Park.


Kathryn Dailey has over seven years of ethics & compliance experience focused on legal, HR, and risk practices. She found her passion for compliance as an intern in WestRock's legal department in 2015 and quickly started her career upon graduating from VCU's School of Business in 2016. She served over 5 years at WestRock supporting the global compliance program and now serves as CapTech Consulting's Senior Compliance Specialist. She loves to travel, hike, volunteer with animals, and spend time with her family and friends. 


Siretha, a native of Petersburg, VA., received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business concentration in Computer Information Systems from Virginia Union University and earned her Masters of Information Technology from South University. While currently working on attaining her Doctoral degree in Information Technology, she is employed as a Senior Business Analyst for Sentara Health. Additionally, her passion for teaching IT has allowed Siretha to become an adjunct IT Professor for various institutions.  For the last three years, she has been a part of the Ram family. Throughout her teaching experience, she is enthralled by the various interactions with her students and fellow colleagues.  Teaching allows her to not only inspire and uplift the youth but gain knowledge from colleagues and students as well.  
In her leisure time, she enjoys watching movies, traveling to different places, and hanging with family, friends, and Beyonce :)

David Berdish is passionately pursuing his second career on the faculty at the Virginia Commonwealth University Department of Supply Chain Management and Analytics enabling student success and delivering equitable supply chains and sustainable logistics and distribution.  A retired executive of Ford Motor Company, he designed and was responsible for the Ford Human Rights Code of Working Conditions, Sustainable Mobility, and the Water Strategy.  Berdish is founder and CEO of Venture Fuel, LLC, a social innovation corporation providing shared-use distribution and inventory aggregation service to Black women owned businesses in South Africa and Zambia.  He was named the 2017 VCU Mentor of the Year; in 2014, Berdish was commended by the U.S. State Department for excellence in Public-Private Partnerships for Sustainable Development; and in 2013, Berdish was honored by The Detroit Free Press as the Automotive Green Leader of the year.


Dr. Rangan serves as the Associate Dean for International and Strategic Initiatives for the VCU School of Business and is a professor in the Department of Finance, Insurance and Real Estate department. As Associate Dean, he initiated our longstanding joint MBA-MS degree program with Christ University in Bengaluru, India plus several other transfer programs with universities in China and India. He also started the International Consulting Program as a short-term study-abroad experience for business students. Prior to joining VCU he served in leadership roles at Ohio University and Southern Illinois University. He has published extensively in leading finance and economics journals and has been involved in executive education and consulting since 1990, teaching executives in Brazil, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Singapore, and the US. He received his undergraduate degree in engineering from the University of Madras, India, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Texas A&M University.
