As corporations increasingly compete based on data and digital capabilities, organizations are demanding professionals with expertise beyond a bachelor's degree. The STEM-designated Master of Science program in information systems prepares you for specialized, senior-level positions in information technology management. 

As a student, you'll understand how to use technology to create a competitive advantage. This includes gaining expertise in organizing, managing, designing, and implementing information systems and in using state-of-the-art technologies, methods, and tools. 

Two concentrations are available:

• Data Science in Business
• Information Risk, Security, and Assurance 

Curriculum

Our curriculum focuses on using technology strategically. You will learn how to apply proven and emerging technologies to business challenges. The core curriculum includes database systems, data communications, systems development, management, and information systems security. Elective classes provide the opportunity to dive deeper into data science and information systems security topics.
