Since 1992, Knight, Dorin & Rountrey has surveyed the Central Virginia commercial real estate market to learn of market participants’ sentiment. Starting Fall 2017, the Kornblau Real Estate Program in association with Knight, Dorin & Rountrey began producing this study on a semi-annual basis. While this survey has provided excellent insight into the Central Virginia market, it is from an appraiser’s perspective. Our goal is to broaden the survey’s parameters (thus providing a more universal analysis) and expand its scope beyond the Central Virginia area.
The purpose of this research survey is to use principles of anticipation to predict real estate market trends.
